When you walk through the doors of Tippecanoe Veterinary Hospital, you'll be greeted by our two dedicated and friendly animal lovers. Dr. Jeff Hendricks developed a love for animals growing up on the family dairy farm near Bardstown, Kentucky.  He attended Elizabethtown Community College earning his associates degree.  He graduated from the University of Kentucky with his bachelor’s degree in agriculture.  He then attended the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received his DVM degree in 1981.  He began his career working in a mixed animal practice in Arcanum where he met his future wife, Lisa.


Lisa Hendricks is from Pitsburg, Ohio.  She was active in 4-H, showing horses and in FFA.  While in high school she worked for the local veterinarian and became a registered veterinary technician in 1976.  She also earned an associate of arts degree from Edison Community College in 1994.  


In September of 1983, Dr. Jeff and Lisa purchased the Patterson Animal Hospital from Dr. Bill Patterson and changed the name to Old Tippecanoe Veterinary Hospital.  The goal for the practice was and still is today to provide quality veterinary care for pets.


Clients always want to know if we have any pets.  Over the years, we have had cats, dogs, a ferret, a Sugar Glider, and a fish.  Currently we have 5 cats and 1 dog.


Today, Jeff and Lisa still strive each day to bring the best care to all the furry friends in the area. If you need quality care for your dog or cat, then you can count on the duo at Tippecanoe.

Dr. Hendricks is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and the Better Business Bureau.
